By any chance, were you guys messing around wih fireworks? If so, they can crash servers under certain circumstances.

Ok, I found out what happened. Our host had to switch us to a new IP. They sent a notice out a few months ago, I just completely forgot about it.

Here's the new IP: 69.46.46.101:25565
I asked them to redirect people who join the old IP to the new one, so to help spread the word, make sure people know what's going on, otherwise after a week they'll be unable to join as well.

On the plus side, any griefers who enter the old IP won't be able to get in. Razz

I'll be posting a welcome message to inform people, but like I said above, when someone joins make sure they're aware of the new IP so they can edit their server list.

Uh... Do wooden picks work for log block? It doesn't seem to work for me on either server.

they're both the same server. the old one just redirects you to the new one. (just so you know)

And Logblock isn't working at the moment. I noticed last night, so I need to get the host to fix one more thing and we'll be good. So for now.. trust no one. Razz

It's not the host. If you had the DB using the same IP, you need to change the config.

Hm. I tried just changing the IP in the configs, but it didn't work. That's why I assume that the host has to set it up again. Maybe I'm just missing something.

That's correct. I'm not sure how long it will be redirecting everyone, though. Could be as long as until the end of the month, or as short as a week.
