New IP is LIVE: 198.12.116.218:25765

I logged in this morning to find the new IP address on FragNet is LIVE - with the current map we have all been playing on for months.  After playing on it for an hour, it appears to be quite stable.

On your server list, the IP should be updated to:

198.12.116.218:25765

At this point in time, the server we had been using (BeastNode) still has a copy (now old) of our map running, with a message that you should really go to the new IP address.

If you see the version field in the server list in your client show up as "Old", just trying logging in anyway. Apparently that's a side-effect of an inactive server going into some 'sleep' mode, and users need to 'wake it up'.  (Can this be changed?  Like by increasing the timeout to 24 hours or something?)

Hopefully the 'Timeout' is a thing of the past. If anyone sees that recur, please make a post here about it here on this forum.

I think thedevlin is the one who did the work of moving the map, so a big Thank You to him.

When i try to log in i get the message "Kicked by an operator"

I was testing something out and it didn't work. Does it work now?

I hope you are making it to the server and having fun.
Please any feed back on the new server is more then welcomed, just post it all here.
Also We are on a new server, with anew command panel and alot more options. We are still setting things up, testing stuff out, little time to fine tune the server.

New IP is DEAD!!! Getting "Can't connect to server" for old and new IPs.

Hm the time-outs seem to be getting worse. The server is up now, but the time-outs seem to be caused by chunks loading and unloading, at least, partially.

If we were to begin a new map, we need to set a border and rules at spawn, for starters.

I'm getting a new Connection Error Message.

It used to always say "Connection Lost: Server Timeout" and that would happen every 15 minutes or so. But today I'm getting a "Connection Lost: Server Reset by Peer" every 3 minutes or so. Is this a thing with the Spigot plugin? It's only happened today, I've been playing all weekend.

EDIT: Now it's back to saying Timed Out but it's still happening every 3 to 5 minutes

Looks like we'll need a new map by 1.8 for sure. We'll wait until all the new features for 1.8 are out.

everytime Iam on, never get a time-out.. and the time out error just you all know, also happens to alot of servers out there. It's a bug, and needs to be fixed.
Also make there are few steps to take to help with the time out bug.
but no real fix for it.
New map won't fix it, until Mojang team gets on the bug reports and makes some changes, these errors will keep happening.
