This is weird.

Whenever I try to join the server, it says 'Outdated server!'
What's up with that?

The server is on 1.6.1, but the latest update is 1.6.2.

You need a new launcher to play, so download it here:

https://mojang.com/2013/04/minecraft-snapshot-13w16a-and-new-launcher/

Then click 'Edit Profile' and change the version number to 1.6.1.

I was using the new launcher, it says the servers running 1.3. The IP is still 69.46.46.101, right?

Oh, I see. I did see the version 1.3 you mentioned when I use Magic Launcher or the old launcher. But it seems to work fine when I use the new launcher.

Maybe there's some sort of setting you missed? The server updated to 1.6.2 today, so try switching to that; that's the only thing I can think of at the moment Sad
