should i stay or go?

well my freinds? seems james, opps vasteel was hacked, as and such was given a ban (unjustified from my perspective) but i digress, anyways, ive been on this server for years, vasteel? about 2? give or take some months. yes we're what you guys would call " the OLD poeple" been here for years, didnt bother noone, etc. we just went out and made a plot of land to build.......lately tho, there seems to be rumors of inserection/revolt against other players, wanting to just pvp everyone they dont like.well theres pvp servers all over the net for that here? not so much.
which is why me and vas have been here for so long. dev has done a good job as owner. but sorry dev , no mods are on.hardly ever, and when they do come on they all come on at once? kris today was bout the 1st time in what 2-3+ days? other mods? me and vasteel have been working on towns in our areas, you know it dev and everyone here knows it. EXCEPT those that wanna cry wolf before they have acctual EVIDENCE. If he cant log on doesnt that mean he MIGHT be hacked? its happened tons of times, READ the FORUMS. anyways, oh and yeah i wanted mod! i'm on EVERY SINGLE DAY, the mods? check the logs. hardly EVER! anyway i'm done griping.

viper...actually kris is on EVERY SINGLE DAY and no you shouldnt gget mod you are as immature as me and you should leave forever if you are going to act like this no one is going to beg for you back

Alright, no big secret that i now have my own server. This decision was made between myself and my family as we were getting bored with vanilla minecraft. When we started it i made a personal decision to remain dedicated to this server as well. And I will stand by that! i have been on every single day since! If i do not join at a time when you are on does not mean that i haven't been on. I may not build as much any more but i do travel to all of the commonly griefed areas daily to check on them. As i only have a 2 day window to rollback with i am pretty regular about it.
I have become friends with many of you on the server and I was not willing to lose those friendships to play FTB, another reason why I check in everyday. Why all of this has turned into a who's been a more dedicated player pissing match i don't really know. As for me being made a mod I applied like everyone. I was chosen by Dev and Ferrit, if you want to know why I was picked then ask them. I do not feel that I should have to defend myself or my decisions. I am an adult and make my adult decisions with a clear mind and with evidence. If you feel that you need to still question me then contact me directly.

Oh god Viper. Please stay for the greater good of the server. You build such awesome builds and are a really nice dude. I do agree that we need more staff though. Dev, what do you think?

we dont need more staff...we have 3 regulars dev kris and ima.. they all are capable of rolling back and banning they are enough and if viper or vy get mod i am quitting..well not so much viper

Xion, can't you just acknowledge that there are few, if any, staff members on during the morning or just the overall day? We've had spammers that come on during the morning and many other times when staff are not present leaving me and usually Viper helpless. Also, why the heck do you seen to hate me with the fervor that you do? I haven't blatantly insulted, PVPed, or done anything to cause harm to you, have I?

Are you kidding me? Whom would I ban other than rulebreakers? I have common sense, so I would NOT go "power crazy and ban people". Also, how am I a "suck up"? Xion, I'm sick of your disrespectfulness. I'm sure that some people (I included) don't really like being around you when you act like you usually do.
The ONLY reason that I'd like to be moderator is because I absolutely love this server. It must be the best small survival server out there. And 3 staff members for an ever-growing community of more than 30 people isn't quite enough in my opinion. You know, Dev appointed me to control the greylist and I've staved off many griefs and kept it updated with every new player that understands the rules.

on thet vain i think kristea does a good job and have no complaints about her being a mod. are server has always had problem with the mods not being able to be on all the time but i think that unless we have a bigger more active server we wont be seing any new mods being chosen.

I agree. Kris is a good mod. Scratch that. She's a great mod. But on the topic of more mods, we have three staff members on usually. Dev, Kris and Ima. Luni is tossing around the idea of coming back, Nere is trying to free up more time, etc. and if you look at the members on the greylist, the proportions of regular players to mods is dismally disproportionate. Coupled with the fact that there are RARELY any mods on before 4:00 PM (Central Time) to kick spammers, ban griefers, make sure that noone is hacking, et cetera. kidmojo, Izza, explosive, and many other staff members have bailed on us. I know that ferrit's laptop is broken and all that but he's our only admin and he hasn't been meaningfully on for about a month. As the community is steadily growing. I'll add new players almost every day. Sigh. I think that we need more staff, with about half of what we had when I started. There. Opinion stated.

after a night of thinking, i have reconcidered my decision, and will not be leaving. sorry bout the rant yesterday.

eventully when i am unbaned i will return since i haven't been able to go on prospect i have been playing my ps3 like crazy, looking for a job, aslo playing free games on origin.com which i hape eventully to get a graphics card so i can play some kick ass games online like battlefield 3, ps3 games i have been playing since i was baned are fallout 3, mass effect 2, monopoly streets which is addicting lol and far cry 3 anyways i was hoping i was to be unbaned today which is tuesday the 22nd but i guess not. anyways hope to see you guys soon!
