server down? 1-8-2013

server has been down since i got up this morning, about 8;30 this morning seattle time

I couldn't access it either. I tried to log on from a Starbucks around 9AM EST. I just tried a few minutes ago and still can't get on. I get a "connection refused: connect" message. Glad to hear it's not just me.

Odd. I can't connect either, even after a restart.

I took a look at the server log, and it looks like someone did a restart early this morning (around 6am). Since then no one has been able to connect. It's probably that the host is doing something to their servers, so if I still can't connect by later tonight I'll send a ticket.

This is why I let my PC host my server. :3

I would, but it's easier, cheaper, and more reliable to rent a server from a host. I don't have to worry about my own internet going out, bandwidth costs, keeping PC on 24/7, viruses, etc, etc.
