With all of the griefings and chaos going on recently, I think that it may be good to start accepting mod applications to see if anyone is interested in being a mod. We could have lots of greifs, and with the few regular mods that we have, it seems like a good idea to get a few more people that will be able to fix those griefs. Another thing that may help reduce the griefings is to implement some form of a greylist. Maybe the process could go like this:
1. Join server as a [Guest]. Guests can't do anything other than use the chat.
No commands, no block breaking.
2. Read the rules (/rules is broken, by the way)
3. Apply here, on the forums. This is the tricky part. There could be a little quiz given by a mod instead.
4. Get promoted to [Member] by a mod/admin/owner
5. Enjoy the server!
This could dramatically cut down on hit n run greifers and people that wouldn't be Law-abiding. This whole greylist thing goes hand-in-hand with getting more mods, because we could certainly need more people to get players out of the [Guest] rank.
